
Luke Murphy (Partner)
Luke has been a solicitor for 19 years and advises clients in the preparation and review of Estate plans including: the drafting of Wills, Superannuation Death Benefit Rules and nominations; Enduring Powers of Attorney, and Advance Health Directives.
Luke assists clients in the timely administration of Estates and acts in all aspects of Estate Litigation including: challenges to the validity of Wills; applications to have non-complying documents admitted to Probate; applications for orders that further proper and adequate provision be made for clients out of estates. Luke appears in the Guardianship and Administration Tribunal on the hearing of applications for a determination as to the operation of Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Luke is a Director of Holy Spirit Care Services Board; the Secretary of the St Joseph's College Gregory Terrace Old Boys' Association, an Associate member of Australian Funeral Directors Association and a member of the Law Council of Australia.
He is a past committee member of the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal's Central Organising Committee and past Chair of the Salvation Army's Annual Appeal Young Professionals subcommittee.
Luke is a former Deputy President of the Royal Life Saving Society of Queensland, having been a Director of the Society for 11 years. He is a qualified Ausswim Lecturer.
