ABOUT MURPHYSCHMIDT: OUR PREMISES

Established in 1998, our origins can be traced back more than 45 years to one of Queensland’s oldest and most respected law firms. MurphySchmidt now comprises nine partners, and a total staff of over 50.

We occupy a heritage listed three storey building at 130 Mary Street in Brisbane’s CBD.

Our building is a classic example of a late 19th Century warehouse, having been designed and constructed by noted architect FDG Stanley for William Mooney, a Brisbane Tobacconist, in 1882/1883.

130 Mary Street underwent major refurbishment in 2005/2006. Care was taken to preserve the original charm and characteristics of the building while creating a workplace for a modern office.
