Tricia Schmidt (Partner)
Tricia Schmidt is a founding Partner of MurphySchmidt and the firm's Managing Partner. Tricia's unquestioned legal expertise is built on her accomplished negotiation and business skills, a focus on achieving realistic results and the ability to make difficult decisions under pressure.
With a legal career spanning 25 years, Tricia has extensive court experience.
Tricia is chairperson of the Queensland Law Society Specialist Accreditation Board and is the Queensland Law Society's representative on the Appeal Costs Board.
A skilled presenter, Tricia regularly delivers lectures to the students of the Queensland University of Technology Legal Practice Course.
In 2006, Tricia was awarded the Queensland Law Society President's Award in recognition of exceptional service to Australian society through a personal outstanding contribution to the advancement of law and justice.
