Benjamin joined MurphySchmidt in 2019 as a Law Graduate with a keen desire to help his clients achieve the best possible outcome in their claims. He is currently completing his Practical Legal Training and is due to be admitted later this year.
Before joining MurphySchmidt, Benjamin worked for Knowmore Legal Service. He commenced as a student volunteer from 2016 to 2017 and became Knowmore’s intake officer in 2018, where he assisted survivors of abuse by providing information and advice about the justice and redress options available to them.
Benjamin believes in giving back to community and is an enthusiastic participant in MurphySchmidt’s work with LawRight (formerly QPILCH), a not-for-profit, community-based legal organisation that coordinates the provision of pro bono legal services for individuals and community groups. He has previously volunteered as a life-saver, at the RSPCA QLD, the Australian Cancer Research Foundation and Mental Awareness Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
