Jacqui joined MurphySchmidt in August 2019 as solicitor, specialising in personal injury claims. She was admitted as a solicitor in the ACT in 2017 and worked at a small personal injury firm in Canberra before moving to Brisbane.
Jacqui was drawn to practise in personal injuries because she enjoys the opportunity to assist people during what can sometimes be one of the most difficult periods of their lives. She tries to take a down to earth approach to ensure her clients feel comfortable in what can be a complicated and challenging process.
Through MurphySchmidt, Jacqui enthusiastically volunteers with LawRight, a not-for-profit legal organisation that coordinates the provision of pro bono legal services for individuals and community groups. This includes the Homeless Persons’ Legal Clinic, which provides free legal representation and advice to people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness.
