Jena Catford

Jena joined MurphySchmidt in 2019 as a Solicitor, specialising in personal injury claims. She enjoys all aspects of her interactions with her clients and strives to ensure her advice to them is clear and concise and that they feel comfortable with the claims process.

Jena completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Media at the University of Adelaide in South Australia in 2017 before developing an interest in personal injury through her first role as a solicitor. After moving to Queensland, she worked with a small plaintiff personal injury law firm before joining MurphySchmidt.

Jena  is an enthusiastic participant in MurphySchmidt’s work with LawRight, a not-for-profit, community-based legal organisation that coordinates the provision of pro bono legal services for individuals and community groups. She has also previously volunteered at the Welfare Rights Centre, where she assisted clients who were adversely affected by decisions regarding their social security benefits.
