Evangeline joined MurphySchmidt in 2020 as a Paralegal, before moving into a role as a Solicitor in the Personal Injuries team. She completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology, and joined the firm shortly after being admitted as a legal practitioner in April 2020.
Evangeline is committed to ensuring access to justice, and finds it rewarding to be able to assist clients in navigating the legal system during what can often be a difficult time in their lives. She enjoys problem solving and working hard to get the best possible outcome for the clients she represents.
Evangeline is an active participant in the firm’s involvement with LawRight, a not-for-profit, community-based legal organisation that coordinates the provision of pro bono legal services for individuals and community groups. She previously gained volunteer experience at the Refugee and Immigration Legal Service, as well as the Royal Courts of Justice in London, where she assisted unrepresented litigants.
