Erin Cunningham

Erin joined MurphySchmidt in 2021 as a Solicitor following her admission as a legal practitioner in November 2020. Prior to starting at MurphySchmidt, Erin worked as an associate to a Judge in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and a paralegal at a national insurance law firm. 

With degrees in Law and Business, Erin takes a practical but empathetic approach in providing her clients with realistic advice and goals. She values the importance of communication and strives to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. 

Erin is an active volunteer with a number of community legal centres and groups, where she assists disadvantaged and vulnerable Queenslanders to access legal services. She serves on the Management Committee of the National Council of Women of Queensland and was elected Vice President in 2020. She is also an active participant in the firm's involvement with LawRight, a not-for-profit, community-based legal organisation that coordinates the provision of pro bono legal services for individuals and community groups.
