The role
The full-time role will involve a portfolio of personal injuries litigation, including workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence, institutional abuse and public liability.
You will be responsible for maintaining a file load, and work under the supervision of and alongside the Partners of the firm. Independent judgement and initiative are required to plan, prioritise and organise a diverse workload.
While experience in personal injuries law is an advantage, we are genuinely interested in whether you want to gain experience in the area and whether you will be a good fit within our close-knit team.

About you
You are a lawyer with a genuine long-term interest and skills in personal injuries litigation. You value the opportunity to work with experts in the area and are driven to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
To be considered for this role you must have:
Post admission experience in the area of personal injuries litigation is preferred but not a requirement.
Strong knowledge of relevant state and commonwealth legislation and case law
Knowledge of and commitment to professional and ethical obligations
Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong desire to learn and expand knowledge and skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to work autonomously and also within a close-knit team
Willingness to be involved in our pro bono commitments
Commitment to service excellence that matches our own
Ability to take ownership in your work and pride in who you work for
A willingness to work in our Brisbane CBD office.
